ChemPriceHub, September 23 — On September 23, the mainstream spot price for N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) in East China remained stable at RMB 12,500–13,000 per ton compared to the previous day. Driven by a significant recent surge in Butanediol (BDO) feedstock prices, strong cost-side support has emerged, leading NMP producers to maintain firm pricing intentions and keep market prices at elevated levels. The NMP market is expected to trend slightly stronger with consolidation in the short term.
