ChemPriceHub, October 12 — The mainstream spot price range for xylene in East China is RMB 9,200–9,210 per metric ton. In the previous trading day, toluene and xylene exhibited high-level fluctuations. Although crude oil prices softened slightly after the holiday, the pullback was limited. Domestic aromatics supply remains tight; even after concentrated restocking by downstream users, spot supply continues to be scarce. Supported by futures prices of paraxylene (PX) and pure benzene, the market is expected to maintain high-level volatility in the short term.
