Morning Market Update for the Cyclohexanone Market

[Chempricehub] October 21: While instability in the Middle East persists, both Russia and Ukraine have hinted at a willingness to negotiate peace, resulting in mixed movements for international crude oil prices. The NYMEX WTI front-month December contract closed at $97.15/bbl, down $0.67 (-0.68%); the ICE Brent December contract closed at $108.82/bbl, up $0.03 (+0.03%). China's INE crude oil futures (December 2026 contract) fell by 26.5 yuan to 700.8 yuan/barrel, with the night session dropping another 10.5 yuan to 690.3 yuan/barrel.
Sinopec Benzene Price Adjustment: Sinopec refineries in East, South, and Central China lowered their pure benzene prices by 200 yuan/ton to 10,600 yuan/ton, effective from October 16.

Core Logic: Raw material costs remain high, sustaining cost pressures; supply-demand balance for commercial cyclohexanone remains weak.
