On August 18, Tongling Chemical Industry Group's phthalic anhydride (PA) capacity stands at 80,000 t/a. Its ortho-xylene-based PA unit has resumed operation. The PA offer price is quoted at RMB 9,100/ton, up RMB 50/ton from the previous level. Supply is tight and sales are restricted. Details to be discussed for firm orders.
