On August 24, Sinopec East China implemented a price of 12,200 RMB/ton, Sinopec North China implemented 12,200 RMB/ton, Sinopec Central China implemented 12,200 RMB/ton, and Sinopec South China implemented 12,100 RMB/ton. Toluene and xylene prices moved upward yesterday, with crude oil closing higher and the aromatics night session trading firm. Over the weekend, local refineries in Shandong raised their quotations, and tight domestic supply supported the market. However, downstream demand remained mostly need-based, traders were cautious about chasing price increases, and spot trading was somewhat subdued, limiting further upside potential.
