On October 26, Grasim Industries, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group in India, officially commenced feedstock introduction and production at its 50,000-tonnes-per-year epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant located in the Vilayat Industrial City, Gujarat. This facility supports the downstream value chain for specialty chemicals and epoxy resins, helping to reduce India’s reliance on ECH imports and shorten local procurement lead times.
