On October 26, Grasim Industries, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group, officially commissioned its 50,000-ton-per-year epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant located in Vilayat Industrial City, Gujarat. This facility is integrated with the downstream value chain for specialty chemicals and epoxy resins, helping to reduce India’s dependence on ECH imports and shorten local procurement lead times.
