Recently, the CCUS-integrated green hydrogen-based bio-methanol demonstration plant commissioned by Weili in Xuzhou has commenced operations. The facility captures CO₂ from biogas and synthesizes it with green hydrogen to produce high-purity bio-methanol (99.9% purity), thereby establishing a viable pathway for converting organic waste into methanol. As a small-to-medium-scale demonstration project, it explores integrated routes for solid waste valorization and carbon utilization.
