Following significant declines in toluene and xylene prices earlier, coupled with a drop in weekend sales prices at Shandong local refineries, the spot market in East China is under pressure and weakening today. Currently, the price difference between PX and MX has widened, creating opportunities for toluene export arbitrage. Overall, the aromatics market is expected to remain weak in the short term.
