April 22 (Xinhua) — The mainstream quotation for toluene in the South China market today is 6,700–6,900 yuan per ton, down 100 yuan per ton from the previous trading day. Sinopec South China Company lowered its listed price for toluene by 200 yuan per ton to 6,900 yuan per ton. Sustained increases in crude oil prices have provided cost support, and downstream buyers showed moderate willingness to replenish stocks at lower prices in the earlier period, lending some upward momentum to the market. However, demand for gasoline blending remains weak, and traders maintain a cautious stance, resulting in insufficient follow-up buying interest in the market. Today, petrochemical enterprises reduced their ex-factory prices, and the spot market followed suit with downward adjustments.
