Chempricehub, June 26 – In South China, mainstream xylene prices are quoted within the range of 6,150-6,350 yuan/mt, down 100 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. Domestic toluene and xylene markets declined with sluggish trading. Overnight crude oil gains lent some strength to the aromatic market, lifting sentiment modestly. Bargain buying improved slightly today. Overall downstream demand remained tepid, and industry spreads were generally narrow. Lacking sufficient upward support, the market is unlikely to stage a significant rebound in the short term and is expected to fluctuate in a low-range consolidation pattern.
