On October 19, Yantai Wanhua, with a neopentyl glycol (NPG) production capacity of 80,000 tons per year, quoted bulk NPG at RMB 10,250–10,400 per ton, marking a decrease of RMB 200 per ton. Actual transaction prices are primarily determined through negotiation. The downstream market is trending downward, while the supportive effect from rising isobutyraldehyde prices has weakened.
