On October 22, the market for ethyl acetate in East China continued its downward trend. Ex-factory prices hovered around RMB 6,550 per ton, reflecting a decrease of RMB 60 per ton. Weak downstream demand and resistance to high-priced goods led to sluggish sales, causing the price center to decline further. Actual transactions within the market were primarily negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
