In East China, the mainstream spot offer price range for xylene stood at 7,700–7,730 CNY/ton, up by 100 CNY/ton compared to the previous trading day. As the holiday approaches, market trading activity is gradually cooling down. Combined with the earlier notable gains in toluene and xylene prices, the potential for further upward movement in the short term is limited. Meanwhile, crude oil futures closed higher, and the nighttime trading session for aromatics showed a relatively strong performance, providing solid support to the market. Additionally, inventories at refineries and ports have both declined ahead of the holiday, reinforcing suppliers’ willingness to maintain firm pricing. The market is thus operating on a steady-to-firm trajectory.
